Schwinn Crisscross Rebuilt 7-Speed, 51cm

The base of this build is nice Schwinn Crisscross frame. This is an early true hybrid frame, which takes 700c wheels, has cantilever brakes, and has plenty of fender clearance. These frames make nice commuter or touring bikes for these reasons. This one has been completely rebuilt to be a very rideable 7-speed with a wide range of gearing options. Built up with Rivendell inspiration, features mustache handlebars with a tall quill stem. Handlebars have been wrapped in orange cloth tape, then amber shellacked, giving a deep honey brown. Has a single chainring up front and a 7-speed cassette in the rear, controlled with a Suntour Barcon bar end ratcheting shifter. Has some nice cyclocross tires, which make this bike good for any weather condition, or some off-road trail riding. Has plenty of clearance for full fenders, and can accommodate a variety of racks. This bike is ideal for riders 5'6" to 5"10", give or take.

Schwinn Le Tour Mixte Single Speed/Fixed Gear, 22"/56cm

The base of this build is a Schwinn Le Tour mixte frame, completely rebuilt as a city fixed gear or single speed. Features a deep-v flip/flop wheelset, North Road swept back bars, and remove-able fenders. Can be setup as a fixed gear or a coast-able single speed with a 52/18 ratio, perfect for cruising around the city. Bike has been completely rebuilt with a reconditioned bottom bracket and headset. Handlebar grips are cork which is very comfortable on rough roads. Cork grips have been amber shellacked for durability, grip, and a beautiful amber hue. This bicycle would be great as a daily commuter, and has eyelets to accommodate assorted styles of racks. This bike is ideal for riders 5'8" to 5'11", give or take.

Motobecane Rebuilt 5-Speed Mixte, 19"/48cm

Inspiration for this bicycle came from the classic constructeur style, particularly the Porteur-style bicycle, used to deliver newspapers on Parisian streets. This bicycle has been rebuilt with French bicycles as a template. The frame is a Motobecane mixte, with twin lateral stays, a classic design. Has been completely rebuilt as a 5-speed with a rear derailer. Sports French-style alloy handlebars, inverse brake levers, and a single ratcheting thumb shifter. The thumb shifter is friction only, and ratchets both in up and down shifts, which gives accurate and precise shifting. The handlebars have been wrapped in cloth handlebar tape, then treated with 3 coats of amber shellac, matching the saddle perfectly. Bottom bracket has been completely reconditioned with a new axle to allow a cotterless crank. Headset has been reconditioned as well. The threaded fork fits a standard quill stem. Features a new alloy wheelset. Has ample clearance for full fenders, and can fit a variety of racks. This bicycle is ideal for riders 5'2" to 5'7", give or take.

The idea behind this build was to re-build a beautiful Miyata 912 frame as a classic fixed gear racer.So, the base of this build is a Miyata 912 frame made of lugged triple-butted cro-moly. Miyata made their own tubing, and the result is a very lightweight, yet strong frame. Built up with very nice components. Features a hand-built wheelset with wide double-walled alloy rims, stainless steel spokes, and high-flange alloy hubs. Also sports a cartridge bottom bracket, track crankset, and silver track width chain. Has very nice Schwalbe Delta Cruiser tires, that have superior flat protection. Drop bars have been wrapped in cloth handlebar tape, then clear shellacked to match the cream tires perfectly. Can be set up as a fixed gear or a coast-able single speed. This bike is ideal for riders at least 6'0" tall.

Trek 800 Rebuilt 7-Speed, 22"/56cm

Inspired by the early Bridgestone MB & XO series, this Trek 800 has been rebuilt as a comfortable and speedy 7-speed. This bike originally was setup as a mountain bike, with an early 80's build. It has been re-imagined and completely rebuilt as an efficient city commuter, yet still has the capabilities of an off-road beast or winter warrior by throwing on some knobby tires. Features alloy drop bars, cantilever brakes, and aero brake levers. The wheelset features alloy rims with slick tires, which give complete contact with the road and are sure-footed in foul weather. Sports a rear derailer only, hyperglide cassette, and a smooth, friction shifting Suntour Barcon shifter on the handlebar end. Bars have been wrapped in black cork handlebar tape, and twined at the ends. Saddle is a very comfortable Selle Italia Mundialita in original black leather. Can accommodate full fenders and a variety of rack configurations. Knobby tires can be included for free. Can install fenders or racks for additional fees. This bike is ideal for riders 5'10" to 6'2", give or take.
